"Most of my friends will tell you that I am a very organized person. However, I would argue that I’m not! I am to a point, but I never feel like I am getting it all done like I should be. Then I received The Busy Woman’s Planner for review - it is definitely heaven-sent! I’ve tried using day planners before, but just never succeeded in using them long-term. I do not think that will be the case with this planner."

Candles by Homestead Originals

I love to support work-at-home moms and you will see me recommend various websites throughout my pages. I will try to place the business information on appropriate pages. Because I love to light candles in my living room, I'm going to list candle companies on these pages! I can highly recommend candles from Homestead Originals. I have several in my home and they burn clean, light smelling - not overwhelming, and for a very long time! Their candles are made from soy and so do not emit toxins as they are burning. They sell all sizes, shapes and prices for all budgets. Try a Homestead Original candle today!

Using Furniture in Unique Ways!

If you live in a smaller than desirable space, using furniture wisely becomes important!

- For endtables, use night tables (mostly used in bedrooms) so that you have drawers that can hold items. Or use tables with shelves underneath. This is what I have in my home and I store magazines, games and extra pillows underneath.

- For coffee tables, use tables with drawers and shelves, too.

- Use storage ottomans as "coffee tables." This gives the family a comfortable footrest and storage, too.

- Consider using one of those L-shaped kitchen nook sets in your home. The seat lids lift up providing storage for cloth napkins, tablecloths, cookbooks, place mats, etc. We store our modeling clay and markers in our seats for easy access at the table.

- Build window seats between bookshelves, if possible! Put a lid on the seat, covered by a comfortable cushion, and use it for storing toys, blankets, etc.

- Use furniture items for unique storage. I use my dining room buffet for storing my scrapbooking supplies because I don't own any silver! If you don't have fancy china, but have a china cabinet, put books in it or baskets of supplies, etc.

- definitely use the space under the bed for toys, off-season clothing, extra sheets or blankets, etc.

It is my hope that you will find something useful here on my site!
I currently enjoy the privilege of being able to stay at home
to homeschool my children and I am always striving to be
the best caretaker for my precious family.

"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
