"Most of my friends will tell you that I am a very organized person. However, I would argue that I’m not! I am to a point, but I never feel like I am getting it all done like I should be. Then I received The Busy Woman’s Planner for review - it is definitely heaven-sent! I’ve tried using day planners before, but just never succeeded in using them long-term. I do not think that will be the case with this planner."

Candles by Homestead Originals

I love to support work-at-home moms and you will see me recommend various websites throughout my pages. I will try to place the business information on appropriate pages. Because I love to light candles in my living room, I'm going to list candle companies on these pages! I can highly recommend candles from Homestead Originals. I have several in my home and they burn clean, light smelling - not overwhelming, and for a very long time! Their candles are made from soy and so do not emit toxins as they are burning. They sell all sizes, shapes and prices for all budgets. Try a Homestead Original candle today!

Keeping up with the Laundry!

- Do the laundry as soon as you have enough for a load.

- Put all laundry away the same day that you wash it. DO NOT let it pile up.

- If you have space or a laundry room, get a sorter (I have a 3-way sorter: whites, darks, reds) and have all household members sort their clothes as they need washing. I just wash a load when the sorter section is full!

- If you have the space, assign each person their own basket and place their clothes in their basket as it comes out of the dryer. Then the person can carry their basket to their room and put their clothes away.

- Have the kids help sort the socks, fold the towels, etc. Get them involved early so that it isn't a big deal to help with laundry

- Ironing ... honestly, my husband does most of the ironing in our home. It just is one of those chores that I procrastinate about! However, it helps to assign one day to the task of ironing so that I can be sure it's being done regularly.

- My favorite stain removal product is Greased Lightning. This stuff gets out EVERYTHING, even blood and grease stains. I love it!

It is my hope that you will find something useful here on my site!
I currently enjoy the privilege of being able to stay at home
to homeschool my children and I am always striving to be
the best caretaker for my precious family.
