I have been a scrapbooker since 1998 or 1999 and enjoy it tremendously. My sister introduced me to the art of card-making in 2005. She started out as a scrapbooker, too, but attended a Stampin' Up party and was hooked on it. She liked how much easier she could make cards compared to scrapbooking lots of pages - LOL! I went ahead and signed up as a Stampin' Up consultant just to get the kit and I have to say that I don't find it too difficult to spend the minimum amount to remain an active consultant. I do not do the parties, though, as I just do not have time for that. Anyway, I highly recommend picking up this craft as I know how much it means to people to receive one of my handmade cards. Oh, sure it takes more time than running down to Hallmark to choose a card for someone, but a handmade cards just makes the recipient feel so extra-special! Here are some pictures of the cards I have made (click on the pictures to enlarge):

I have also learned how to decorate those Mead composition books (which sell for $.50 each in August during the back-to-school shopping time!). Here are some pictures of those that may inspire you to create your own! Click on the pictures to enlarge:

It is my hope that you will find something useful here on my site!
